Poop-sicles!

Here I am.... just dreaming of our new frozen treat we've found....
With the weather being so cold and snowy, we dogs have found a great treat out in the backyard during this time. For some reason, whenever we dig up these treats, the humans start banging on the windows and sometimes open the door and yell at us. ?? What's that all about??! Anyways, these dung treats are great tasting when they are frozen, and some are already on a stick, so we call them "poop-sicles". Yummy treats for dogs. Albert, Lola, Mia and I like them the best. Fatsy has not really tried them yet, and does not seem interested. Penny is still busy searching for a way out of the new fence, so she's also not interested. But the rest of us find it to be a delicious and fancy treat. I think the humans may be jealous, and perhaps that is why they make such a fuss when we dig these treats up. So, I tried bringing in one of the poop-sicles to Mom today and she screamed even more. Humans....sometimes I can not understand their weird ways.

Here are Albert and I wrestling on the floor. We have such fun together!

Fatsy, always such a Gentle-Woman. She is quite prim and proper. Perhaps that is why she is such a good nanny.

On Squirrels and more...

We were outside the other day and there were these pesky squirrels hanging out in the trees above our fence. They were saying all this stuff to us, like they were better than us or something! It was getting us all worked up. Fatsy was howling like a mad-woman. Penny was barking up a storm, and so was Albert and Lola. I was trying to remain cool and collected. Mia was just standing under the tree watching the whole thing, not voicing her opinion much. Then, one of the crazy squirrels knocked a big chunk of snow off the tree and it came crashing down on Mia's head. Mia just stood there, looking kind of embaressed and shocked. Oh those pesky squirrels...they think they are so superior! Well, for now they had a good laugh. But, next time they better watch out!! Penny is trying to come up with a plan to get them.

By the way, our family ended up adopting Albert (what did I tell ya!) this past December. We had him for 6 months and no one was coming forward for him, so Santa gave him a tag in his stocking that had his name on it and his new home info. Albert was really happy. Here he is finding his surprise in his stocking on Xmas morning. Each of us have our own special pawprint stocking with our name on it in glitter.

Any dog can make themselves at home here...it's a dog's paradise. Albert has gotten really chummy with Lola, who people say are a hot item now (as hot as 2 neutered/spayed dogs can be!). Here they are sleeping together.
